Mom: ok
S: I want candy can I have candy please
Mom: ok (as she drops the container) what kind do you want?
S: not on the floor....
(a short time passes)
S: she has three!
Mom: Deal!
S : No Deal......

Jr. High....

The Jr. High starts at the end of this week, but for this week S is staying at home with me and we get a mini vacation sort of. Everything has been great since Saturday.

The easy part?

Now that the classes are finished, the only thing left is the walk. The only thing is I keep looking at blackboard (the online class interaction/grade and assignment thingy) and ULM email and there is nothing there. I am starting to believe the institutionalization thing. I feel SO out of place. I need to hurry and get back into school!

What Do I Do Now?

Well an A and a B. So a 3.75 for the summer term. I sit the long sit and take a short walk in a week and couple days. Bec says I have been "institutionalized" when I say it feels weird to be here. Last night was the worst so far. I was anxious about the test today and realizing they were the only thing left other than the walk. I won't be able to start grad classes until the spring. It really does feel weird though. I was in school from the fall of '94 to the fall of '99 and had a seven years war with financial aide and then I won last year and a year later I am finished.

Three days....

Three days until my last two test and then on Aug 9th at 2:00 I walk the long walk. I still need the last test and a small essay for grad school. They said that was all I need to be accepted into teach delta and 12 to 18 months later I will have my masters. Yehaw!

Count down!

Well one week left. Not worried about Math but HR Management is giving me fits. I have my cap and gown on the front door hanging hehe. I know I am weird, but after 14 years I deserve to be able to see and enjoy it.

The kids are starting to go down well. First E then the other two go about an hour later. We shoot for 8:00 and 9:00, but usually is around 8:30 and 10:00 oops.

I will be glad when things finally settle down when I finish masters degree. In a year and a half. Seems so far off. When we can just be two jobs and family time. Not two jobs full time school and a lot off study and in between a lot of clothes with an infant. Sometimes S just falls in the gaps and plays Lego Star Wars. Well we will have plenty of time during summers after that.
